I love being able to pin filtered visuals to dashboards, really helps when creating departmental dashboards with visuals filtered to just that department. However, it would be nice to have an option on the dashboard to pass those filters back to the report visual when navigating to the report via clicking on the dashboard tile.
In short - whatever filters my dashboard visual has should be active when I navigate to the report via clicking on the dashboard tile.

RE: Filter on Dashboard Visual Pass Through to Report
I am not sure why this wasn't the default user experience to begin with. Agree with all other comments thus far. I have tried several approaches to filtering the data to get the desired behavior with no success.
RE: Filter on Dashboard Visual Pass Through to Report
Agreed. There needs to be stronger / more robust linking between report visuals and dashboard tiles. Right now, the link appears to be fairly weak / non-dynamic. It seems that just about the only link there is between them is the underlying data. When a user clicks on a dashboard tile, having them see the same thing in the report that comes up ought to at least be an available setting and should probably be the default behavior.
RE: Filter on Dashboard Visual Pass Through to Report
This a very needed feature. My users always click on my dashboards for exploring the data and when they click on dashboard tiles they end up seeing full data (default view) which kind of makes them lost in data.
RE: Filter on Dashboard Visual Pass Through to Report
This is a great idea. When clicking on a tile in a Dashboard, the Report should be filtered based on the filtering on the Dashboard tile.
