DESPARATELY need a way to delete pending changes if they throw an error. No way to do so right now and save work.

agree--this is a total nightmare. one wrong move and you can never go back unless somehow you know exactly what change you made. You are forced to get into the habit of never making query changes unless you've already made a copy of the query that you're about to modify.
