Enhance the Bing map by allowing a field entry for "Home" locations and not just Location.

At my organisation we have many centres spread across the UK and differentiating these on a map from our staff, members and/or learners would be helpful. This also helps, at a quick glance, show distance travelled.

I cannot be the only one who thinks this would be helpful?

I thought this was a standard in the ESRI version. However, in there you have to manually enter each "pin point" of which you can only have 10. Not good enough for my organisation unfortunately.

Help me Power BI people.

RE: Map "home" locations from a table

Interesting. I would like to better understand how you see this working. Only a single data set is loaded into a visual, so I'm assuming you must have the home location data in the same data set (another column). If the home location is an ID or name, then potentially coloring the data points uniquely on this value might be a good start. If home location can be geocoded, or is lat/lon values, do you want to be able to draw lines from each location to the home location. Possibly render an icon for the home location. Display a distance to each some how (tooltip, or as label on lines). If you want distances I would definitely calculate those ahead of time as it would be too expensive to do that on the fly constantly. Especially since these values would rarely change. If you do that calculation ahead of time, you could use a route service and get travel distance/time information which would be more accurate than a straight line.
