Inital default loading behaviour on slicer choices (issue/bug?)

When data source update and do a data refresh, slicer default loading stick to current selection and won't select the refreshed items inside the slicer. e.g. I have two slicers on "Latest Week" and "Week", suppose it will point to a latest week range if "Latest Week" is selected "Yes", but when new week data is input into data source and data refresh is done. The initial loading on slicer "Week" is still pointing to old week, no refresh to point to the "new" latest week.
Will Microsoft team plan to fix this issue on slicer behaviour?
