In the Queries list of any Power Query window, the following actions are only available in the context menu when a single query is selected:

  • Enable load
  • Duplicate
  • Reference
  • Move up
  • Move down

There's no apparent reason why these actions can't be applied to multiple queries in the same manner as the Copy, Paste, Delete, and Move to group actions, all of which appear in the context menu when multiple queries are selected.

Please add these missing actions to the multi-selected queries context menu in Power Query!

I like the idea, I was adding 3 actions for 10+ queries, what gives more than 30 clicks vs even 3 using ctl + a for all , for ms fabric, there is a similar idea related targetConnect more than one query in Dataflow Gen2 to the same lakehouse with multi-select

Right now, if you want to create a query reference or enable/disable loading for a query you have to do it for each query individually. Please add the ability to select multiple queries and then perform an action, such as create a reference or toggle the load status for each query selected.

RE: Power Query: Add all possible actions to context menu for multi-selected queries

Often I've got an entire query group of "intermediate" queries that I don't want loaded.

It would be great if I could mark a group as "Do not load", or change the default setting of "Enable Load"

Ability to create connection only queries like you can using the Excel Power Query version
So for a query in Power BI desktop ability to disable load to report but enable query refresh (the latter is automatically disabled when you disable the first)

RE: Power Query: Add all possible actions to context menu for multi-selected queries

HI, Usually when I bring in multiple queries on to power query and would like to disable the "Enable Load" feature for each query, I would have to do it one by one. Can I simply select multiple queries, right click and hit Enable load to either disable or enable the load in bulk?

RE: Power Query: Add all possible actions to context menu for multi-selected queries

It could be allowed to select multiple tables and enable/disable the options "Enable load" and "Include in report refresh". This would increase productivity when there are many table to work with.

RE: Power Query: Add all possible actions to context menu for multi-selected queries

moreover, a similar option is available in Power Query - Specify custom load settings
