Currently only git repos in Azure Devops are supported as part of the git integration for workspaces, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/cicd/git-integration/intro-to-git-integration#considerations-and-limitations
Given we use Github for all our other repos and we would like to keep all repos in Github, we would need Fabric to support Github as well.

RE: Support GitHub in the git integration for workspaces
I would like to add that it should preferably not be limited to github if possible. We, for example, use gitlab and are in the same position that we want to stay with our current solution.

RE: Support GitHub in the git integration for workspaces
When searching for this idea, I could not find it by searching the phrase github enterprise--I searched the first two pages of results and only found a request to enable datasets to use github as source. Only when I went to create a new idea did it suggest this URL.--also, no images allowed in Fabric Community Ideas kinda limits usthe font size of the comments in relation to the avatar / name badge section of a comment minimizes the content of the comment and maximises evidence of social proof.

When is GitHub support expected to land MS?It almost seems like a prank that Microsoft Power BI supports Git integration but not using Microsoft's most well known, well supported and widely adopted Git platform 🤣🤣🤣.
