    SSAS Multidimensional Field Breakdown

    When you are using a live connection to an SSAS Multidimensional cube your field list breakdown should mimic what it does in Excel. When you use Excel to make a pivot table connecting to an SSAS Multidimensional cube it give you groupings of the measurement groups, dimensions, etc. It makes it easier to navigate and find items.
