I can copy the visual either as image or data table and paste it in other applications.

March 2022 Update: We are looking into this

We recently released the ability to export data from tiles and visuals to a CSV file. This may work for y'all as a workaround until we add the ability to directly copy and paste the visual or data. You can read more about it here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/powerbi/archive/2016/01/06/power-bi-service-update-0106.aspx#exportTile. Be sure to let us know what you think about the feature!

Need to be able to highlight, copy and paste data in table visualizations. This is so frustrating when I just want to copy a single field in a table but cannot.

What is the status on this one? The workaround is not helpful at all. To much work for something as simple Copy-paste.

What is the status of the simple copy/paste for a grid/matrix?

Again, a very basic feature missing from PBI. The workaround with .csv files is an annoying workaround. Far too frequently I just need to copy and paste a table in to an email, word document or existing excel file.

I also need to copy and paste the value of a card visualization. Would it be possible to let us know from when is this expected to be available?

Please make it possible to copy and paste the value of a card visualization. It is so important! :)

A simple copy and paste from at least the table visualization should be prioritized; it is jarring for a user to not be able to do so.

At our company we really need this feature! It is super important for our employess to be able to quickly copy/paste the data of a visualization.

ETA?! :)

Yes, the table visuals specifically - would be extremely easy to get the data out by copy/paste vs exporting to csv. Often there is only one field needed.
