Be able to create email subscriptions for the PBIX reports in the Report Server

We’d hoped we’d have a good way to bring this functionality to the server – however, similarly to Export to PDF, after a lengthy evaluation of all the options and required investments, we’re not planning to bring this feature to the server at this time.

Is there any status update on bringing this feature into Report Server On-Premise, or is this a feature that Microsoft is purposely excluding from On-Prem to force cloud subscriptions?

Is there any update on this? The last update was almost a year ago and we cannot move away from SSRS reporting until we can do basic things like use a shared datasource and enable email subscriptions for Power BI. (well unless we give in to the business demands and scrap Microsoft reporting altogether)

How Microsoft can sell a product which is incomplete. Report Subscription is such a basic but most important feature. No wonder Tableau is the clear winner.

This is a critical feature as far as seamless distribution of reports is concerned. MicroStrategy does it effortlessly and inorder to switch to Power BI, this will be a crucial feature.

This is a feature our Cognos users have come to depend upon. Though there is a desire to replace Cognos, without this feature we would have a user uprising if we did so.
