Understand trying to keep Planner simple, but needs this connector to enable those who need more complexity out of planner to analyse and report the data.

At the least steamline and make mainstream a flow (which is the current hack) that generates the Excel file or Sharepoint list as the replication of planner

This request is half a decade old. I don't understand why there is any Microsoft service that can be exported to excel that is most also natively integrated into Power BI.
