Multi-tenant using DirectQuery for Azure Analysis Services
The preview function of using DirectQuery for Azure Analysis Services supports only single tenant (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-directquery-datasets-azure-analysis-services). We hope that Microsoft will make multi-tenant available in GA or in future releases.
