Next to a slicer you should have a 'search' box that allows you to filter all items on the screen based on a search text (no just filter on a specific table but all occurrences in the dataset)

Currently you can only author reports that mashup data coming from different sources in the Power BI Desktop. It would be great if this could be done from within the service directly.
