As an Iranian user of Power BI, I would like to see support for the Persian Solar Hijri calendar in Power BI. Power BI and DAX (Time Intelligence) functions do not currently support the Iranian Solar Hijri calendar (or any other calendar that differs from the Roman calendar in structure), so users must either add the Roman calendar and Persian Calendar tables to their model or create a complex date table (mixture of both calendars) and barely use those tables in Power BI. The Persian Solar Hijri calendar is widely used in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and some other countries, and it is an extremely significant part of the daily life of millions of people.

We believe that adding support for the Persian Solar Hijri calendar (or any custom calendars) would be a great addition to Power BI and would greatly benefit Iranian and other users of Power BI. This would make it easier for users to analyze and visualize data based on the Persian Solar Hijri calendar and would help them to make better business decisions.

Thank you for your consideration.
