When users try to access to any POWER BI dashboard, which they don't have access to, it would be nice to custom Pop up to ask them to raise request to access it, instead of generic one.

Any organisation worth it's salt is managing access through AD - at least give us the option!

This would be SO HELPFUL. We are using AD Groups for access, and it's a total pain in the butt, and complete waste of time to have to email the user back, telling them they have to request access a different way. I'd be happy if we could just turn off this request feature because no matter how many times we tell users not to request access via powerbi.com, they STILL click "request access" from within Power BI. It's really frustrating.

Would be great if a request for access could be customized to provide a link like Pankaj mentions or to advise the requestor to obtain a specific AD group or Identity IQ role that is used to control access to a report/workspace/app. Basically allow the admins of the workspace to configure the response to requests.

This is needed with Large company managing access with a different tool/workflow.

Any news about it? It is rather disappointing that there are new possibilities added by Microsoft to request access that to give us control over this function especially that Whitepapers and books written by Microsoft partners encourage to use group access instead of individuals :(

This a very basic capability that should be implemented asap so we can function with the user group access effectively.

I support this request as well. My organization also controls access via Azure Active Directory to the app and this feature should be allowed to be enabled/disabled via the admin portal.

Tenant setting to disable this feature for dashboards or reports.
Same as everyone else that has commented. We manage workspace access via AAD groups.

exactly! Now I just keep getting emails as I am the app publisher. But I am not handling access, it is the AD group owner who does that. Now I have to manually forward those emails to the AD group owner.

This needs to be implemented ASAP. We also manage access via AD Groups and allowing users to request access just creates unnecessary work and confusion for a lot of people.
