Interaction - Sort based on another visualization

Link visualizations together with sorting and coloring, so that the items are sorted and colored the same no matter what measures they contain. Example: I have $ and Unit sales in side by side pie charts, but they sort differently, because $ leaders are not always unit leaders. I would like them to be sorted based on $s, but because $s are not in the units pie chart I cannot do this. A better example would be a table sorted by $ vol and visualizations with YOY change in clustered column charts nearby should be sorted the same.
