This would allow for intra report navigation and allow users to jump to different dashboards/pages from within the report.

Over eight years since this proposal was raised. Over 1000 votes. Its remarkable that something so simple still hasn't been implemented in to Power BI.

Come on people. I can't imagine it is that hard to add this feature in 8+ years.

Our PowerBI (PBI) team is reaching the limit of information handling of single PBI files in a common laptop (~5GB in different interconnected tables) for different tabs.We have an iframe in our platform that avoids exposing the URL. If we include a link to another PBI it now opens it in a new tab, exposing the new URL.Potential improvement could be use a separated file for each use. However, this is now not possible as will be a security issue.Allowing hyperlinks in text boxes to open in the same tab will allow our PBI creator team to generate more efficient dashboards.Hope we have this soon...or we will be forced to find a different solution.

when you will implement such a basic feature that every other BI tool has.someone should look into this, this was raised since 2015 and no action from Power BI team.

Its so annoying to close 20 tabs after checking several concatenated reports, PLEASE FIX THIS!

The PBI navigation panel is great, but having this same functionlity as standard within a button or Web URL link is going to be critical to roll out anything substantial, consisting of multiple dashboards to a large set of users. A must have - to improve user experience and reduce multiple tabs being opened.

I'm too embarrassed to use dashboards because you can't navigate to them from reports other than with web links, and those open new windows. But will this request reach a decade of inaction?
