    There must be an option to refresh data through schedule in power bi desktop application. Please add this important feature.

    This would be very helpful, especially for dashboards that are designed to refresh when opening, such as a background macro in excel.

    I also agree. This needs to be automatically refreshed after a fixed time frame

    Agreed!!! Now users need to manually refresh the data and this needs to be automatic

    I agree, please add this to Power BI Desktop. The expediency of the uploading to Power BI service via the personal gateway is pretty much voided if I have to constantly refresh Power BI desktop whenever I add to my data source in excel.
