The behavior of pinned line chart visuals on the dashboard

When pinning a "Line chart with X-axis type set to categorical and specified date column" visual to a dashboard, the tile may not display the entire date range. Instead, it may display a partial date range or the displayed date range may change according to the width of the tile.

I understand that this is based on the following design. However, it is very inconvenient, and I would like to see improvements so that the entire date range is included in the graph.

• When the axis type is set to categorical, each date is displayed individually in the line chart.
• When displaying it as a tile on a dashboard, the interactive options are limited, which means that even if it is set to categorical, the scroll option may not be available.
