When Power BI Report Server can be same good as Power BI Service on Azure?

Please put Power BI Report Server into a strategic product development position
Compared to Power BI service, Power BI Report Server is obviously lagged on product development. Compared to other products like Tableau, Qlik Sense etc, MSFT moves very slowly on advancing Power BI Report Server development which is very very bad, also does not demonstrate OPEN attitude.
Lots of companies used SSRS to build reports and dashboards before, but SSRS cannot meet modern reporting requirements any more. Competitive tools like Tableau, Qlik etc are becoming more and more popular and attractive in today's BI architecture as MSFT cannot really compete by providing a competitive product for on-premise solutions. MSFT may wish all companies move to cloud, but this is not realistic. Still lots of companies are using other cloud vendors or build their own cloud infrastructure. If the on-premise reporting product cannot meet the pace of competitor's product development, MSFT will disappoint its embracers and lose its share long termly.
Strongly recommend that MSFT humbly learn something from its competitor's products! Keep the same feature release pace as Power BI cloud service!!! Do not cut any features supported on Power BI cloud service from Power BI report server!!!
