When a source changes, a dax calculation in a report dependent on the source might break. This results in a poor user experience.
Create an automated, process that is trigger by changes to the dataset (import mode only) that cycles thru each non-hidden page on each report dependent on the dataset. Off any of the queries generates an error then:
• put a badge on the dataset “”x visualisations on n dependent reports are broken”
• send an email to the dataset and report owners, including rollback option.
