This is a no brainer and will help massively in fitting many charts on one page. Can't believe it's still not possible....(!)

Need font selection per column.
Scenario: change some columns to use a fixed width font, so individual characters or numbers align vertically.

'+1 for idea - would be handy to be able to assign smaller font size for long strings in a table visual for example.
