RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
My organization is trying to replace all of our Crystal/BOE reporting with Power BI reporting, but I can't do that without this feature. We currently use scheduled reports to generate pipe-delimited CSV files to provide data to several third party companies on a weekly basis. I cannot currently replicate this functionality in Power BI.
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
We need that feature
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
I thilk it would be great having the chance to choose the text delimiter for specific needs!
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
European friendly feature, strongly needed.
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
Having a european number like
column1 column2
XXX 110,23
And then having exported like
XXX,110,23
:(
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
I think this feature is not added on purpose
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
Biggest issue for me is that PowerBI desktop uses one delimiter and PowerBI services another
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
I can't beleive this is not already implemented. Most basic feature and we should not even have to request it... You are one of the largest software companies in the world and this is one of the most common issues when managing files with data since the 1990's... come'on...
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
Implementing this feature would make the my day-to-day use of Power BI so much more convenient, and enable me to concentrate more my time in other areas. Please implement this feature :)
RE: Export to CSV: regional settings support
Please, this feature is really needed to avoid having to export to Excel and then again to csv just to have correct regional settings in csv files (we are talking about semicolon delimiter and decimal separator). thanks.
