RE: Clustered+stacked Chart

I agree this should be a out of the box chart which is available.

RE: Clustered+stacked Chart

I agree completely - I need this - very important. Need to be able to compare a number of items. I'm trying to have cost for a period of months and compare in the bar chart of a number of account types. This is definitely possible in Excel. Should be out of the box.

Zoomcharts has this now in a purchasable visualization. You can find it in the Microsoft store. You can use the Advanced Column, Line, Area chart. The paid version allows up to 9 series. Unfortunately I need 12 series (3 bars in a cluster with 4 stacks each). But, it got me close... Maybe it will fit your needs.

This feature has been under review a long time. This should be an out of the box feature. Users say "this is possible in Excel...why not in Power BI"?

RE: Clustered+stacked Chart

This seems very basic and required!

RE: Clustered+stacked Chart

Comparing percents of breakdown (stack) clustered is crucial in retail analytics, e.g. sales breakdown vs. inventory breakdown right on top of or next to each other!

Lack of this feature is a major drawback. Hope its made available soon.

RE: Clustered+stacked Chart

Easy to do in Excel, should be the same in BI.

RE: Clustered+stacked Chart

Can someone who is good at custom built visuals create this? Or are there limitations from Microsoft which do not allow this to be a custom built visual?
