Entire Report to EXCEL from Desktop and Published Version

We are moving reports from Business Objects to Power BI and in order to meet our customers contractual needs; we have an obligation to export the entire report, including all tabs, into an Excel Spreadsheet. We will not need to publish all reports, some will stay at the desktop level for quick adhoc reporting or analysis. As such, we ask for these export options to be available in the desktop application. Our needs are as follows:

• From the Desktop as well as the WebApp (Published) version we require the ability to export the entire report into Excel, not just a small piece of it with all the data as well as any charts (ALL TABS.
• Would also like to be able to export the entire report in pdf or Power Point and not just a screen shot.
o This is needed for both Desktop and WebApp (Published) versions.
• Currently the Desktop only allows exports by individual tables into .csv format. Or the portion of the report shown on screen into .pdf format.

The type of reports that my team complete are more detail driven and require multiple ways to drill down into the same data. It’s more than just providing a graphical high level view of data.

We have contractual obligations to provide reports and provide in Excel format for the customer to review. We need access to the raw data AND once we build these reports, we need the summary tab with total numbers and different variations that filter out specifics. We can’t provide just the summaries with no backing data to the customer. We need the ability to pull ad hoc, data detailed reports in order to assist with LCM (Local Customer Management) and customer queries, as well as to provide contractually obligated asset, change, and incident reports.

Thank you
