There are so manny things we should be able to do with planner data. Also, being able to add additional data elements, but if not, at least to be able to do so in BI... please... please... please... soon.

RE: Load data from Office 365 Planner to PowerBI

Hi I struggle to understand if this feature has been implemented or not. I found something called "Executive reports for MIcrosoft Planner" but then, I cannot resolve the issues with authentication. Is it possible to export data from MIcrosoft planner into powerBI or not? Thanks

We need a Power BI connector for Planner.the current solution is to use Power Automate to pull the data into Excel tables and then use these tables as data source. This is slow and quite cumbersome as the Power Automate connector does not have an "Export Plan to Excel" action.

All connections to office 365 tools like planner or Power BI services should become more easily

Is it possible to pull data from a Task Planner Can Ban within a Teams channel?
This functionality would provide completion and initiation of tasks based upon the company.

RE: Load data from Office 365 Planner to PowerBI

I am trying to run reporting and analytics based off of data put into the Planner app on Microsoft Teams. The existing reporting functions visible within Microsoft Teams are insufficient, hence the requirement to utilise Power BI. As it stands now, to generate reports, I am needing to export the Teams data into an excel file, and constantly manually refresh this data, from a host Excel file, into Power BI.

My organisation would find it largely beneficial if Power BI used Microsoft Planner as a data source (that is functional within teams) to allow for this process to become more automated than it has previously. The next step after creating this link would be to introduce timed refreshes of the Planner Data.

Please make this possible.
