Create multiple apps from same workspace infect from same Dataset without replicating the dataset multiple times. only option we have now is to update the app and only one app per workspace can be created which a kind of restrict the workspace usability. If we can create multiple apps share it with different users without creating multiple workspace ... means same dataset no dataset replication, will save the storage as well.

This feature is crucial to our plans for a global self-service architecture in Power BI. Being a global conglomerate with significant SOD ("segregation of duty") and compliance requirements, we have literally thousands of datasets and multiple use cases for the majority of them. Having an App Workspace for each App multiplies our Datasets and therefore the strain on our Premium and Gateway environments by a factor of at least 4. It also creates the risk of redundant and asynchronous Datasets as 15-plus people try to mold the same Dataset to their particular questions.

We will be first in the line when this is ready to go.

Absolutely necessary. I am having this problem while creating slightly different views to various departments in our organization.

This would be a huge addition. For us we have multiple groups who only need to see their reports but senior management needs to be able to review the key points from all groups in one dashboard. As stated in other comments this means we have to manage multiple datasets/reports of the same thing.

Agree with the below; the current situation leaves room for unnecessary human error i.e. if the base dataset is updated but not pushed to all workspaces.

If we're building enterprise-level dataset(s) and applications they should be coming from the one source; especially when using a premium capacity, this feels so counter-intuitive.

RE: Create multiple apps from same workspace

Tried using apps for the first time today and was bummed out to see that 'Apps' (plural) actually means 'group of reports against a singular workspace'.

I was hoping to use one workspace, create a number of apps, and then tie the access rules to the apps. But thats not possible. Seems the intent is to create a number of workspaces and then add people to multiple workspaces.

At the moment Apps is simply not a good enough replacement for content packs.
