Greater flexibility for security on Reports when sharing Dashboards

We would like to create a filter in a Dashboard which navigates directly to a report without giving full access to the workspace

We would like people who have access to the Dashboard to be able to click on the filter link to allow them access to the underlying report.

Perhaps there could be an option when giving access to the Dashboard to have read access to underlying report. Or if there is a security options on the Report to have a group of Members to have read access and write access, so we could give access at the Report level.

At the moment it is either at the Dashboard level or the Workspace level and this is either a Write Group or Read group.
