Create Report Level Custom Measures and Columns Off Cube Data

I have seen some variations of this but now sure it's exactly the same so posting.

When my PBI report uses a SSAS cube I can only create a new "measure" off the cube data. Also, it only lets me create a new measure off an existing measure.

I would be great if the ability to create both custom columns and measures off cube columns and measures at the report level where a configurable feature that could be activitated at the user level by the administrators of the cube or the work space somehow.

This would let an admin grant permission to selected report writers so they can write DAX off all the columns and measures available in a cube.
