Usage statistics from PBI Analysis Service datasets

We have just transferred our tabular cubes from Azure AS to PBI Premium AS and in addition to PBI reports we are connecting to the cubes via Excel for analysis work. After verifying with MSFT support, there is currently no way to pull out cube usage details for PBI Premium AS datasets. The audit logs provide an event called "Connected to Power BI dataset from external app", but this will not tell which dataset the user has accessed.

Use cases for us:
1) We have been providing the usage details to management so that they can review the use of our data assets and drive the organization for more active data driven decision making.
2) PPU license maintenance for inactive users

So, please make the dataset details available in audit logs so that we can follow up the cube usage.
