Change data source table names without having to edit M script each time

It is currently possible to change the data source location from one server/database to another server/database very easily, provided the tables within each database have the same names. If the table names are also different (but the underlying columns and content are the same), the only way to change the table names without having to completely re-create their reports is to edit the M script for each table in the data model. It's hard enough trying to get our end users on board using Power BI without us having to intervene and edit their scripts every time they want to change the table names being used.
