I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.

This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

Hi, Any updates to this? Release Wave 2 was scheduled from October 2020 to March 2021?

This is a CRITICAL Functionality for our Users, to be able to export data in the same format that is visualize in the PBI Report. Specially to Track Sales Trends.
It will be good to now for what Sprint this is planned and estimated date when this will be LIVE.

We have many reports that have matrix visual and users want to export the data in same format.
We are moving from Tableau to Power BI and this feature is working in Tableau. This feature is really required for to complete the migration.

FINALLY! This has been such a pain. And there are so many use cases:

1) To copy visuals to Excel get them ready for a PowerPoint. Maybe I want to delete a column or some rows. Or maybe change the formatting to better highlight the point I need for my presentation.

2) To do some quick ad-hoc calculations or analysis in Excel. Maybe subtracting some numbers from each other, etc. Trying to do this with Measures is close to impossible.

I can't wait for this to finally be released!
