I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

This is how Performance Point scorecards worked and it was great. Exporting data formatted, with summarized subtotals and grand totals is a must have!

Agree.. To eliminate the double process from Power BI with Excel..Time consuming..

This is big issue for our engineering group. It is time consuming & difficult to matrix constantly new data sets and then easily share them.

Yes, agree - why would someone want to repeat the data manipulation in excel after having done that in Power BI.

We need this function! Without this most of our reports on Power BI are useless for the end user when exported.

We absolutely need this. Please everyone vote for this!!!!! This is going to be a deal breaker for us to convince clients to go with Power BI. We're trying to overcome this now with a client. Very frustrating and disappointing this isn't already developed!
