I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
We need this requirement
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Without this feature one of our large group wide teams may not adopt Power BI.
They are used to seeing data in the way it is presented in the Matrix visualisation.
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Agree end users dont want to have to go now pivot the data
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Without this feature the "power" of Power BI is compromised. Hope this natural feature is introduced soon.

Yes! Please!!!
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Seems like such a logical extension of the functionality.
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Please provide it on priority, client may stop using power BI and will trust excel.
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
This is definitely a crucial capability as there are a number of times that spontaneous ad-hoc analysis needs to be done with the data and/or to incorporate the data into existing spreadsheet models. It is not practical to have to manipulate the exported .csv data back into the format that you need. Most BI tools already allow for this...
Thanks
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
I have several clients that need this requirement
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
YES. YES. YES. Not having this capability is a serious constraint. I need to export large matrices in my visualized format to PDF for sharing via email with external, non-Microsoft users.
