I have volumes of information to share with my teams that is best presented in tables and matrices. It would be a huge improvement if they were able to export the data from the visualizations and have the formatting in Excel match the formatting created within PowerBI.
This would be especially helpful for ongoing forecasting activities.

RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
We desperately need this. I have a bunch of customers comparing this to tableau and this is a major gap for them.
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
Do you have any news for this improvement? A customer is really asking to have the same visualization as matrix display.
Thanks

And the colors!! Colors should be the same like in tabular \ matrix
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
One of the biggest problems with exporting the data at the moment is that when you have a drill down or cross tab type report, the data being exported is actually not what you see on screen. It's un-pivoted in the case of a cross tab and down to the lowest level of detail in a drill down. In the case of percentages which are calculated on the fly, it makes it unusable even in a pivot table in excel.

Any update on this please?
RE: Allow Table and Matrix Data Exports to Match PowerBI Visual
It is always the first questions in my Power BI trainings - if it is possible to copy/paste the underlying data into Excel? So now it is only possible to see them in a table (show data), which is very cool, but it would be great to copy them from this table directly to Excel to do further calculations. CSV export doesn't work very properly with SSAS live connections.
