Pro users have the ability to schedule refresh for daily (intra day) and weekly. For some datasets, monthly is the right cadence. Can we have a scheduled refresh option that is Monthly (and lets us choose which day of the month the refresh is to occur)?

Hi Microsoft, it appears that this has yet to be considered critical. I'm in the process of reviewing the source of reporting for the entire organisation and we need end of month reporting.
This has effectively rendered Power BI as not fit for purpose.
The fact that this doesn't have this is crazy. We don't have the resourcing to be manually updating reports consistently. When can we get an ETA on this?

Wow... this is ludacris, something so simple... how can i not select every Nth wednesday of a month to refresh...

First workday of the month would be better!
And weeks go from MONDAY to Sunday in Europe, not Sunday to Saturday as displayed in datepickers etc.

For us to. We do not want to do this weekly as unnecessary and especially where there are big queries and this will be done numerous times over many entities and solutions. A waste of resources and money and we may have to revert to manual monthly updates and which is not ideal. So it would be helpful to extend the updates to monthly.

This would make running 72 BPI files monthly a whole lot easier!

How does this still not exist?? That should be a basic feature, so many financial and business reports are on monthly basis

I had the same issue. The workaround is to use a scheduled cloud flow on Power automate as a trigger and the use the power bi 'Refresh a dataset' action. Guy in a cube talks about this option

Monthly refreshes. Even refreshes based on a calendar is an option in old reporting tools like Business Objects. I am surprised this isn't available in Power BI.
