Improting Existing Synapse workspaces to Microsoft Fabric

Allowing users to import Azure Synapse Workspaces is the long-term goal, given the considerable engineering undertakings it demands. Currently, it is challenging to achieve due to the feature parities among workloads such as DW, DE, and ADF for Pipelines between Syanspe adn Fabric. Another contributing factor is the variance in technical architectures and executions between the two systems, especially in areas such as permission management, network security, and user authentication mechanisms.

Hello, Vasantha: I believe that this is a long-term goal. However, it's challenging to achieve at the moment because of feature disparities across workloads and differences in technical design and implementations in certain areas between Fabric and Synapse. In the short term, you will be able to import artifacts from a Synapse workspace.
