How did my refresh go report

Could a report be available after a refresh showing the metrics necessary for tuning the process? At a minimum this could show how many MB of each table had been downloaded, how long each one took and how much space they eventually occupied after compression. Going a bit deeper could it also show how much ‘effort’ went in to the various steps performed by the query editor?

It would also be useful to have some idea of what happened at the data source end. In my case I am downloading data from CRM Online and I have a feeling that my very long refresh times (well over an hour) are partly caused by the fact that a dataset that looks like one table to me actually gathers data from several tables at the data source end. I suspect that this is expensive, in terms of time and resources, but I really have no idea and don’t know what I can do to improve things. Some metrics that would allow me to experiment with different ways of getting at the same data would be very useful.

At the moment, once the pop-up box with the circling dots disappears, even the basic MB/GB per table information about the refresh is lost.
