Power BI leads the user to believe it is possible to export summarized data at the level of the current view. In fact, the result of [Matrix grid] > Ellipsis > Export data is that data is exported at the lowest level of the drill-down path.
In one case, I am viewing 4 rows of data in my matrix grid (drilled up to the top level of the data hierarchy). When I export to xlsx, i get over 15,000 rows of data (summarized at the lowest level of my data hierarchy).
Users should be able to export data at the level they are currently drilled down to on their report.

I support allowing export of summarized data.
RE: Allow export of summarized data
This is a readily available feature in competing data visualization products and should not be missing from Power BI's feature set!
RE: Allow export of summarized data
Please allow this feature in the 'Line and Stacked Column Chart'! It would allow ease of use for exporting data out of timeplots.

This feature is critical to be able to use these reports as we need.

RE: Allow export of summarized data
Please also allow this on other hierarchy enabled visuals like time plots by date
RE: Allow export of summarized data
it is ABSURD that this does not exist yet.
RE: Allow export of summarized data
This would be nice to have - especially for date hierarchies, users currently have to re-pivot the data in excel in order to roll up to the year, for example.

RE: Allow export of summarized data
This feature has to be added ASAP. Users need it on high priority so that they can export at any level they are viewing.
