Hello all,

Currently, when use Relative Date Filter or Slicer, and you want relative to "calendar" week, month or year, is possible use operators "is in the last", "is in this" and "is in the next", but there is missing something like "Include this period".

This means, that in Power BI is not possible set relative date filter to last N whole(calendar) months, including current month.

Additionally, in relative date slicer configuration is option "anchor date" which can move the today date to custom (business required) date. But this option is possible set only to fixed value during report design. Is not possible set dynamically using formula or measure, e.g. = dateadd(today(),1,MONTH) or =max(LastRefreshDate), and so on.

This means, relative date slicer with Anchor setting is not relative but STATIC.

Truly, if static only, I don't know what good is for, because if I need filter to static date, I don't need relative slicer, and when need filter date dynamically relative to custom date, I need also set this value dynamically. As developer, I don't want to modify and republish report every day.

I think, it is easy to fix.

1) Please add a "Include this period" checkbox for a relative filter/slicer if the period is "calendar" and "is in the latest" or "is next" is selected.

2) Please add to the "Anchor date" setting in the relative date slicer, the ability to insert a calculated value, using the "fx" button (as other setting values in Power BI)

Thank you so much.

There is also related "Issue" idea, because this looks more as issue or unfinished feature, which is not usable for common cases, please vote also here:https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/Missing-common-options-in-Relative-Date-Filter-Slicer/idi-p/1678786
