Enhance the drill through feature to allow for multiple filters or slicers to be used and then for all the other pages in that report to change to those filters. When the user goes to each page, the report is filtered to those selections.
For example in our company if someone wanted to know more about backorders, I would have a Filter Page (first page of the report) then they select the Manufacturing Plant, Date selection (past 7 days, period, or a date range), Ship Location, and other filters that are relevant to them. These filters then change all of the reports on the following pages (7 Day View, Weekly, Yearly, and so on).
There may be some report creators that would like the option to not have certain pages and/or charts changed, so that would be a useful tool as well.
