A lot of custom visuals are not following a standard implementation approach, for example custom themes are not supported by some of them, some do not allow the data export functionality. They are inconsistent which causes confusion for users. It would be much better if Microsoft released a standard set of protocols which the custom visuals had to adhere and support in order to be listed in the store.
