Maybe the ability to create a tile where you can create all the functionality of an activex form (like Excel or MS Access forms).

Does PowerBI desktop have something like OLE automation, so we can automate like excel? If yes , where can I find the information? I try a number of Power shell scrip in GitHub, not working at all, run with error

This is a very useful BI tool. However, it would be more powerful and versatile with the integration of VBA.

I am an advanced VBA developer, and am considering replacing TIBCO Spotfire with Power BI. Spotfire supports JavaScript, and apparently Power BI down NOT support VBA? Please add VBA to Power BI. It's a make or break for me.

Yes. I made a VB6 app that used Excel as a calculation engine hidden in the background. An open Visual Basic library like in the Office suite would mean: 1.You could automate report generation as you would do via manual workflow in SSIS and SSAS for local Excel/tsv/csv files 2. You could also add button features in your reports that could switch between dark/bright themes in your report OR switch graphs with a click! Obviously any VB elements would have to publish to Power BI cloud to be useful! A great advantage over your competition from Qlik/Tableau. Phone app dev for IOS and Android has shown as well as power BI visuals; that the community will ALWAYS be able to come up with better ideas than Microsoft or any company might have the time for!
