Just like Microsoft SQL Server, There should be a way to Back-up and Restore on-prem Gateway servers + data connections, and optionally restore them into another Server, with the option to make them redundant for failover recovery.
If the Gateway crashes catastrophically , users will loose all 100's or 1000's of connections that need to be entered manually into a new Gateway, which will cause a great loss of time and money for the enterprise.
