I agree and this would be a very useful and much-needed feature for ISVs providing embedded reports in SaaS solutions.

RE:

We really need this feature for ISVs so we can surface embedded Power BI reports with fast data access using Direct Lake.

Yes! This is real problem when the organization is used to placing information in a SharePoint folder and Fabric can't pull from SharePoint easily or place information in SharePoint that it has completed (like jobs completed for reverse ETL purposes).

I really like this. I would really like to drop files into the lake without having to add the house over them and setup a resource. It would also make OneLake File Explorer more useful. You could expose folders and control access to lake folders for other members of the organization like a traditional file structure in Windows Explorer but for the data estate.

Our customers also ask for this functionality, like it's already available for direct delivery ic-orders. Can be a real time-saver. Indeed, rather surprising it's not available yet.

Being able to plot lines by another series (e.g. not X, Y) to create a connected scatter would be AMAZING. https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Data-Stories-Gallery/Workout-Wednesday-2022-Week-31-Connected-Scatterplot/m-p/2675625.
