It'd be great to be able to freeze a left hand column in a table so users can scroll and keep track of what row they're looking at

RE: freeze column in a table chart
If this is possible in Power Pivot, why is it taking a long time to implement it in PowerBI

RE: freeze column in a table chart
Column freeze in a table is a critical feature with large tables. Without this feature, you do not know where you are in table and must continue to scroll to determine where you are.
RE: freeze column in a table chart
Turn the table to matrix, then one row is frozen. Limited but helpful.

It would be nice if Microsoft can identify little things like these and implement first. Sometimes the most powerful way of looking at data is via table and matrix visuals so if these 2 visuals can be nailed first it would be great.
Here are few things I'd love to see:-
1. Freeze columns
2. Conditional Icon sets
3. Sparklines
4. Filters within table columns
5. Explicit formatting control for headers, rows, totals.
6. Conditional formatting of text fields based on their own value
7. +/- to expand collapse (this is coming)
