It'd be great to be able to freeze a left hand column in a table so users can scroll and keep track of what row they're looking at

RE: freeze column in a table chart
It would be nice if Microsoft can identify little things like these and implement first. Sometimes the most powerful way of looking at data is via table and matrix visuals so if these 2 visuals can be nailed first it would be great.
Here are few things I'd love to see:-
1. Freeze columns
2. Conditional Icon sets
3. Sparklines
4. Filters within table columns
5. Explicit formatting control for headers, rows, totals.
6. Conditional formatting of text fields based on their own value
7. +/- to expand collapse (this is coming)
RE: freeze column in a table chart
It will be a good feature to have. It can help the business users to read the data available and understand where they are.
RE: freeze column in a table chart

RE: freeze column in a table chart
definitely missed,
I have 30 plus columns and Power BI does lend itself well to scrolling left and right, scrollbar is quite thin, disappears and is not well contrasted so quite a mission.
RE: freeze column in a table chart
I believe the option is to use MATRIX and keep MATRIX's style as CONDENSED. That way 1st column can be freezed.
