Relative date filter allow filtering on a particular date of each year eg 30/06 (30th June)

I had a need recently to filter on the 30th of June of each year in a visual which had date on the x axis so show a count at the end of the financial year over the years rather than the ongoing count that the visual was showing.

There appears no way to do this when filtering on a date field. I had to create a calculated column which was the date in text format and then I could use an advanced filter searching for '30/06' in the date field (we are in Oz) to just show the count at the end of each financial year.

If this functionality was available in the relative date filter then that would save creating a new column.
