New Desktop app update installed an almost white user interface. There is zero contrast which is not good for the eyes. I see where some people have requested a light interface so incorporate an option to select either light or dark theme like in the Office apps.

This request is on our roadmap, but we don't have timelines to share yet. We'll update this idea when there are more details to share. Thank you!

Completely agree. I do not like the lighter color scheme in the June 2019 update. Implementing this change without simultaneously adding the capability to change the colors back to dark mode was a major oversight.

I loved that the old Power BI pane was so easy on the eyes. Taking away this feature without the ability to toggle seems like a step backward. This is going to be a painful month.

Crazy it works now. The bright theme gives me eyestrain and adds to the cognitive workload when laying out reports. Controls are harder to distinguish in this June 2019 ultra bright theme.
