New Desktop app update installed an almost white user interface. There is zero contrast which is not good for the eyes. I see where some people have requested a light interface so incorporate an option to select either light or dark theme like in the Office apps.

This request is on our roadmap, but we don't have timelines to share yet. We'll update this idea when there are more details to share. Thank you!

RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
There needs to be an option to select either a light or dark theme for the UI. Being forced to use the light theme is really frustrating.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
We like dark mode. Why did you take it away? at least have it an an option.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Let me see! yep, lets burn someone eyes!!!
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
All due respect Madm, but you guys should put for vote to change or not the mode!!!
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Please give us back dark mode! Agh!
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
This is really incredible. Is it so hard to retain a choice of the theme when users have been accustomed to the dark for years? Is there a top voted idea "switch PBI to light theme with no choice"? Can you please show me the idea? No, you cannot, because it surely did not come from the users. Oh wait! There is "Power BI Desktop UI light / white theme" idea with 1 vote! So this is where it came from. Congratulations for listening to your users with such a subtlety...
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Please give us the option to change back to dark mode
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
yes, dark mode would be very helpful
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
We need the option to use dark mode.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Please give us the option to change back to dark mode. My organization controls installations so the uninstall/reinstall work around absolutely does not work for me.
