New Desktop app update installed an almost white user interface. There is zero contrast which is not good for the eyes. I see where some people have requested a light interface so incorporate an option to select either light or dark theme like in the Office apps.

This request is on our roadmap, but we don't have timelines to share yet. We'll update this idea when there are more details to share. Thank you!

RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Please, bring the dark background back
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
dark please. Everything offers a dark UI these days.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
dark please, better for eyes
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
It's beyond me why you would implement a white theme WITHOUT still providing the option of keeping the dark theme if you wish. I mean, dark theme is all the rage now, heck, even Apple is going dark for the iPhone. Power BI is doing exactly the reverse. I cannot understand how Product Owner/Manager sometimes make decisions...
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Dark please. Easier to read, looks more professional.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Please give the user the option to use either the dark or light mode. The light mode is harsh on the eyes.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Nowadays is very common and useful to have the option to dark mode in any modern app.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
Please bring the dark UI back. Or at least provide an option to switch between the light and dark UI. The light US hurts my eyes and makes it difficult to work in the program for long periods of time.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
I don't know who in their right mind thought making the entire interface white was an even REMOTELY intelligent idea but they should be fired. Period. End of story.
RE: Option to use either light or dark interface.
The interface shouldn't have been turned all white to begin with. Effing stupid as hell
No one asked for this change. The change provides ZERO benefit to the user.
Fire whoever brought this idea up. Seriously.
You might as well have changed the application's font to Comic Sans. That's how stupid this decision was
